Our Team

Ruud Van Dam | Kinetic Data and Communications Hawkes Bay

Ruud Van Dam

Ruud has worked for over 22 years in the ICT and telecommunications industry.

Born in the Netherlands, he started his working career as an apprentice electrician and data technician. This was in the early stages of data cabling and information technology.  Information and communications technology has grown hugely over the intervening years and is now a vital part of today’s modern life and economy.

Ruud gradually worked his way up to become Project Manager for a large (6,000+ employees) ICT company in the Netherlands, and worked on various projects across Europe. In 2003, he and his family migrated to New Zealand to start a new life in sunny Hawke’s Bay.

Ruud continued to work in the ICT industry on his arrival in Hawke’s Bay and gained a good amount of local knowledge within his first eight years in the country.  This knowledge, combined with his technical expertise and experience, means Ruud provides excellent professional and customised services to a variety of clients: from small and medium to enterprise businesses.
